Competition Rules

We’ve made some exciting changes to the National Senior and Junior Culinary Challenges in 2018, including:

  • Challenges will take place on the same day in the same room, so that competitors can gain maximum exposure:
    • Tuesday, June 12th (Ballroom at the Delta Hotel Prince Edward)
      • 8:00 am to 12:00 pm – Junior Culinary Challenge
      • 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Senior Culinary Challenge
    • As in past years, our Sponsor Product Showcase will also happen in this space (from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm)
  • All food and equipment will be supplied (to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for competitors AND even the playing field)
  • Application deadline: ¬†April 20, 2018
  • Prizes Available:
    • SENIOR CULINARY CHALLENGE
      • 1st Place – $4,000 CAD
      • 2nd Place – $2,000 CAD
      • 3rd Place – $1,000 CAD
    • JUNIOR CULINARY CHALLEGE
      • 1st Place – Prize package from F. Dick Knives and Pearson Canada
      • 2nd & 3rd Place – Prize package from Pearson Canada
